What an awesome weekend it was in our beautiful town of Rotorua. On Saturday we participated in the marathon.
The marae to marae run was also taking place at the same time! And looked like great fun too!
Always a good vibe being surrounded by positive people competing or participating in their chosen distance.
The scenery for the 12km was amazing as always with Pohutu geyser showing off to the visitors.
Then on Sunday we attended the Whakarewarewa Women's Rugby Jersey presentation.
Privileged to be one of the sponsors for the womens rugby team.
Watched the girls carve up on the field that afternoon too!
Ka rawe!

I had the absolute pleasure of attending at Manaaki Ora to give a korero to the social workers from Family Start, about the types of Court Orders and Family Court processes their clients enquire about.
Thanks Laurine for inviting me, it was good to meet with some of the new staff I have not met before.

I managed to take a pic of one of the photos in the foyer that had some of the OG Tipu Ora staff members that I recognised - some of them no longer with us ❤️
A big mihi to the Family Start team who continue to do an amazing job in our community.
And thanks heaps for the gift 😁

How lucky am I!
What a great end to a full on week!
This amazing client created our logo on this delicious banana cake! 🍰
So grateful 🙏 but more than that, I am happy that this particular client got the outcome that he has been fighting through the courts to get.
Family court proceedings can definately be stressful and ugly, but he persevered for the sake of his children and he got the results he wanted.
As lawyers we help you navigate through this system, but you are the ones that do the hard yards and you need to congratulate yourselves.
🙌 glad to be of assistance!
Home made cakes are the best!
Enjoy your weekend whanau

Kia kaha ki ngā roopū ka tū mai i tēnei wiki!
