Exciting news for qualifying first home buyers.

Kainga Ora have just announced a new initiative called First Home Partner.

First home buyers who don't quite have enough of a deposit and loan to buy their first home may be able to apply to Kainga Ora, who will Partner with them, by providing a loan, to purchase the property. In return, Kainga Ora will own a share in that property until their loan has been repaid, and buyers can repay this over time.

It was really good to be able to help put Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPA) in place for a client who was in hospital during Level 4 lockdown. We were able to do this using audio visual link, which meant my client and I were sticking to lockdown rules, and keeping ourselves and those around us safe. He was able to leave hospital once the EPA were in place, and relocate to his new rest home where he has settled in well, and is happy.

“Hineawe made the process of putting Dad’s EPA in place easy and did it with care. Dad was in hospital during an alert level 4 and obviously couldn’t do this face to face with Hineawe. Dad’s disability meant he needed someone who was patient, understanding and understood it was a difficult time for Dad. Both Dad and I are happy to have worked with Hineawe during this time, and would most certainly recommend her”.
