When did you last look at your will?
A will isn’t something to put in place once and forget about. As life changes, it’s worth making sure your will still reflects your circumstances and wishes.
It may be time for a review if you’ve:
• married or separated
• had children or grandchildren
• bought or sold significant property or assets
• experienced a major change in your family or financial circumstances
• simply not reviewed your will for some time
Even if nothing significant has changed, reviewing your will periodically can give you confidence that it still does what you intend it to.
If you’re unsure whether yours needs updating, talk to the Blackhawk Law team.
