Team Spotlight: Ruby Manukia, Senior Property Lawyer
This week we're shining a light on Ruby Manukia, one of the senior property lawyers on our team at NZ Legal.
Ruby brings a genuinely global perspective to property and commercial law — with practice experience across New Zealand, the United States, and Tonga. She's the person clients turn to when a deal has a wrinkle: a defective title, a tricky registered interest, overseas-buyer compliance, or an ownership structure that needs to work across more than one jurisdiction.
She specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution — and as an Associate Member of AMINZ, she's equally at home helping parties resolve a dispute as she is closing a deal. Add a BA, LLB, LLM (Hons), and PhD to the mix, and you've got someone who pairs serious academic depth with genuinely hands-on practice.
