With everything going on a the moment in the United States of America, it is a timely reminder of the importance of strong advocates.

•We must as Lawyers ensuring that the law be followed to the letter.
•The law MUST always be applied in a way that is free of discrimination.
•That we fight for the right for the laws of NZ to be applied in an evenhanded way.
•It is our job to be the wolves at the door to stand against corruption by people in power.

I am thinking of all my learned friends in the legal profession in America right now, suffering terrible career ending consequences for doing just that. 💔
