Random Acts of Kindness Day gave us the perfect excuse to do something we’re quite fond of… baking! 🧁

Our team whipped up some homemade goodies to donate to Full Bellies Charitable Trust , a wonderful local charity providing school lunches to children across Canterbury.

We love what Full Bellies is doing for families in our community, and we were very happy to play a small part (with plenty of flour and sugar involved!).

Hopefully our baking helped make a few little lunchboxes – and days – that bit sweeter 💛

Our offices are looking a little brighter this Daffodil Day! 🌼

Each year, we order a beautiful bunch of daffodils for each of our offices as one small way of supporting the Cancer Society and the important work they do for people and families affected by cancer across New Zealand.

We always love seeing these bright blooms around the office – and knowing that our annual tradition helps support such an important cause💛

We put together these Wellness Boost Packs with a few goodies to help everyone through the last stretch of winter - because sometimes it’s the little things that make a busy workday that much better.

Packed with vitamin C, cosy snacks, chocolate (essential, obviously) and a few winter must-haves, ready for a little pick-me-up when it’s needed most.

Here’s to looking after ourselves and each other as we head towards spring 🌱✨

A chance to get away from the desk and stretch our legs while supporting the red zone recovery efforts? Sign us up!🌱

Every few months, we’re lucky enough to join Sarah from Christchurch City Council and lend a hand with the ongoing revitalisation of the red zone.

With spring just around the corner, this time we rolled up our sleeves and planted 100 trees!🌳 These will help bring more greenery to the area and provide habitat for local wildlife as they grow.

Planting in an area where houses once stood also meant we made a few interesting discoveries along the way! From some impressively giant worms, to pieces of old clay and glass, and even an abandoned Hi Vis jacket - you never quite know what you’re going to dig up. 👀

It’s always great to get outside, do something a little different as a team, and play a small part in the transformation happening right on our doorstep.

Thanks again to Sarah for having us and putting on a delicious BBQ - we’re looking forward to watching our 100 little additions grow!💚

What a special evening celebrating 30 years of Pier Law 🤍🖤

On Saturday, we came together to mark this milestone and acknowledge the commitment, leadership and dedication of Bill and Steph, along with every member of the Pier Law team—past and present—who has contributed to our story over the last three decades.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Rambler with delicious food, plenty of laughter, and a fun quiz that put our Pier Law knowledge to the test. We then made our way to One NZ Stadium to round out the celebrations by watching the All Blacks take on France—and what a great way to finish the night with a win!

To our clients, colleagues, friends and community, thank you for being part of our journey. We feel incredibly grateful for your support over the past 30 years and look forward to continuing to help individuals, families and businesses for many more years to come 🥰
