🏠 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗻𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
July saw plenty of activity in the New Plymouth property market, with 126 properties sold across the district. That’s up 27.3% from June and slightly ahead of July last year, when 125 properties sold.

The median sale price was $620,403, down 10.5% from June and 8.8% compared with July 2025.

Across Taranaki, owner-occupiers remained the most active buyers, with first-home buyers also active at the lower price points. Good stock levels continue to give buyers plenty of choice, while vendors are generally meeting the market with their price expectations.

The wider Taranaki region recorded 174 sales during July, up 24.3% from June and 9.4% year-on-year.
