As we wrap up 2025, our offices are now closed for the holiday break.

We want to take a moment to say thank you to our clients, referrers, and wider community for a truly great year.

This year has been one of growth and momentum for us. We celebrated our move into our new New Plymouth offices, welcomed new team members, and had the privilege of assisting with over 350 property transactions — including a record 20 settlements on the final day of the year. An incredible effort by our team and a huge vote of trust from our clients.

We’re proud of what’s been achieved and grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey this year.

We look forward to re-opening refreshed on the 12th of January 2026 and continuing to support you with the same practical, people-focused advice.

We’re thrilled to welcome Gemma Walsh to the team — our second new hire in just a few weeks and perfectly timed to support our busy lead-up to Christmas as we continue expanding our Commercial and Property Law capability.

A proud New Plymouth local, Gemma joins us fresh from completing her exams at Victoria University of Wellington and is excited to return home to support our clients.

With strong academic grounding, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine passion for helping people, she’s a fantastic addition to Goodwill Law.

Outside the office, Gemma is continuing her studies in law and commerce, spending time with friends and family, and still finding time for her favourite Welly-style matcha.
