We (reluctantly) agreed our Angelic Associate could relocate back home to the North Island to be near family and practice law up there for some other outfit 🙄

Pleased to announce she and her little one (future counsel) are safely arrived with husband counsel on the way.

But seriously Angel Miller we will miss your skill, humour, empathy (costs submissions) and good vibes so much. You are a brilliant lawyer and human and will always part of our DMK family x We love you ### Go well ❤️

More excitement at DMK! We are thrilled to introduce our new solicitor Keisha Reyes!

Keisha was born and raised in Davao City, Philippines, before moving with her family to Christchurch during her school years. She graduated from the University of Canterbury in April 2024 and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in September.

Before beginning legal practice with DMK Keisha worked as an Employment Student Intern at the Ministry of Social Development and then as a Life and Identity Services Officer at the Department of Internal Affairs.

Keisha is 3 weeks into family law practice and just like the rest of the DMK crew we can tell already she is going to contribute so much to our clients, our team and to improving access to justice in our community.

Welcome Keisha we are so thrilled to have you as part of our DMK family!

Everyone who knows her knows our Angel is amazing!

She’s been with DMK since she was a law clerk (after we pinched her from the Family Court Registry) through to admission to the bar and she’s now on the list of counsel appointed by the Court to assist in litigation matters!

We are so thrilled to announce shes now also an Associate of the firm!

It’s a big day for the DMK team today. Our beloved Gretchen is off on a new and exciting legal adventure.

We are so proud of her achievement and even prouder that Gretchen started her legal practice at DMK.

Gretchen is an amazing lawyer and she will go on to do great things.

Hi everyone

As you are aware the Court has been temporarily closed for seismic strengthening and in person appearances have been taking place at the Nelson Bridge Club.

Repairs have been completed and the Court is now open and all Family Court matters are now being heard back in our Family Courtroom.
