What do you do when the weather cancels nationals? If you’re Hawke’s Bay Rowing Club’s masters rowers, you book a trip to Melbourne!
This November, 17 local rowers are taking two crews to the Head of the Yarra, including our very own Tara Huckle! That’s 8 km, more than 300 eights, tight bends and 11 bridges. Some of the squad only learned to sweep row this year, which proves it’s never too late to try something new.
