The first step is to understand what has actually failed and why. Is it the appliance itself? An electrical fault? An installation issue? And depending on the circumstances, could a manufacturer warranty, installer obligation or other protection apply?

Sometimes there’s a straightforward solution. Other times, it may require some investigation, professional advice and a little compromise.
