Axle reunited with mum, over 100 search and rescue volunteers cheered as the crew that found him made their way up the driveway.
Axle was found approx 4km from the house after he went missing yesterday afternoon, Axel is in good health and is happy to be home he was hungry and ate a ham sandwich.
As a precaution an ambulance was called to check him over, his mum was over the moon " its a big relief, I can't thank the search and rescuers enough" "
Cheers, tears and clapping were heard as axel was reunited with his family, one community member we spoke with said "many people didn't sleep last night and this is just the best news"
a post from the local school facebook said "the whole school cheered and clapped" following the announcement.
Police thank the public and everyone involved in the search, local senior constable Richard Reeves said " the community pulled together and its the best outcome we could have hoped for"
