We were delighted to host our third "Courtroom Conversations" panel event in partnership with SOULS (Society of Otago University Law Students).

The event highlighted the many pathways available within the legal profession beyond traditional property and commercial law, while showcasing the opportunities that come with building a career at a local firm.

We were thrilled to support the Wānaka Snowsports Club ‘Pinnacle’ Celebration on 8 August. It was a magnificent celebration of the enormous success enjoyed by our snowsports athletes over the 2026 season. In particularly we were stoked to support the Ladies Panel and get the chance to hear from such inspiring women about their journey to sporting success. The discussion was rich, enlightening and summed up beautifully by Ruby Star Andrews with ‘do what you love and stay humble’.

Huge shout out to the Wanaka Snowsport Club Committee and all our fellow sponsors for creating and supporting this wonderful community event.

We were thrilled to have four teams entered in Sport Otago's Tri Challenge held at Forsyth Barr Stadium this week. 🚣🚴🏃

Recently we launched a new internal Values Framework - built on integrity, powered by collaboration, delivering excellence.

As part of this journey, we were privileged to welcome Grant Robertson from the University of Otago as our guest speaker yesterday. Grant shared his insights on the importance of values in shaping workplace culture, along with personal experiences and practical advice on how to bring those values to life in our everyday work.

He reminded us that values are more than words on a page, they are the foundation for how we work, support one another and achieve success together.

A big thank you to Grant for taking time out of his day to speak with us, it was truly inspiring.

We'd also like to thank local cafe Fluid Espresso for creating custom canned iced drinks for the occasion. It was the perfect way to celebrate our values of ICE – Integrity, Collaboration and Excellence while bringing everyone together.

Gus joined our Corporate and Commercial team in September 2025 after graduating from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws.
