The office turned pink yesterday in support of breast cancer awareness.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in New Zealand women. 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And more than 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

We are proud to have raised $1,644. The funds raised go towards vital ground-breaking breast cancer research, life-saving education and life-changing patient support.

Cross-lease titles give each respective registered owner an undivided share in the underlying land, which they own as tenants in common.

Restrictive covenants in the leases themselves often require an owner who wants to make alterations to their flat to first obtain the consent of all of the landlords (lessors) acting jointly, including the tenant/landlord seeking change.

On 24 January 2026, the Disputes Tribunal Amendment Act 2025 came into force. The Disputes Tribunal can now hear claims for up to $60,000.

Parties cannot be represented by lawyers at a Disputes Tribunal hearing.

However, depending on the complexity of the claim, an applicant may want to consider engaging a lawyer to provide advice on their claim, or to assist with preparation of the hearing (including explaining the legal position).
