Bishopdale Law was founded by Richard Sprott in 1997. Since then it has expanded and is now comprised of three partners; Richard, Jane and Angela. It has developed a reputation for excellence, illustrated by the large amount of new business gained through personal recommendation by satisfied clients. Richard, Jane and Angela all enjoy working for a range of clients, developing long term relationships and providing legal experience and assistance in a variety of areas including property transactions (residential, commercial and relationship property), wills, estates, trusts, powers of attorney, residential care subsidy applications, disputes, company incorporations, partnership and shareholders agreements, setting up and administering charities. They enjoy the variety of work this provides and the challenges it brings. Richard is a Trustee of two charities and the firm has sponsored the Christchurch Marathon.
