From 1 June, AEWV holders applying for ANZSCO skill level 3 roles will need to meet English language requirements – likely affecting both recruitment and retention across several sectors.
Rachael Mason New Zealand Immigration Lawyer says the change will be most felt in industries that rely heavily on Level 3 roles that have not traditionally required formal English testing – for example, construction, trades and primary industries.
