Our Hamilton office got a revamp! Fresh look, same great team.

The new spaces have created a warmer and more welcoming environment for our team and clients.

A big thank you to Hayden Pirie and the team at CDM for managing the process so smoothly and with great communication, along with the teams at LAD Architecture and designwell for their creativity and expertise.

We are very happy with the result!

Last week, our firm has engaged in a communications workshop with Melanie Vezey, the incredible coach from Loud and Clear Communication .

Through our sessions, we visited the topics of identifying and understanding different personality types, different communication deliveries and different languages of appreciation.

Amongst these topics we partook in presenting our introductions, learning the structure to deliver a memorable elevator pitch and facing small talk head on by standing before our peers, giving a one minute talk on an impromptu topic.

Melanie delivers her workshops in a calm, empathetic, constructive and humorous manner. She truly understands connection and how to engage with each personality type.

We are so proud of the team for embracing their involvement in these sessions.
And equally proud to be part of a team where everyone genuinely supported their peers through the moments they found uncomfortable.

Over the weekend we attended the the annual Hospice Waikato and Montana Food and Events Bucket List Banquet.

This event is impeccably facilitated. The atmosphere is truly something to be experienced.
An arena full of people, coming together for one incredible cause; raising funds to support Hospice Waikato to continue to provide support, comfort and care to so many patients and families in our community.

There are so many moving parts to the evening, beyond the glamourous decor and the delicious food, are auctions, raffles, impressive entertainers and emotional real life stories shared of those who Hospice Waikato have supported.

It is always a pleasure to support Hospice Waikato to continue their amazing work and the generous crowd this year broke the record, donating $660K to the cause.

Along with our little pirate helper, we delivered the teams contributions to Cambridge Real Estate in support of their annual pajama drive, supporting Kids in Need Waikato.
This is an incredible initiative for a wonderful organisation and Cambridge Real Estate generously donate another pair of pajamas for every second pair donated.
If you would like to support this cause, the CRE team have extended the campaign until Friday 22 May.

Our Hamilton office is up for a revamp!

From Monday 11 May, our Hamilton premise will be under
construction, with the works anticipated to last for 4 - 6 weeks.

During this time our staff will be accessible as always by phone and email and will be located primarily in our Cambridge office.

We will continue to meet with clients in Hamilton, at The Crate meeting room spaces on Victoria Street.

It's basically business as usual! We look forward to sharing updates of the renovation as it progresses.

Lewis Lawyers recently attended the Law Alliance NZ conference in the beautiful Bay of Islands.

Over three days we experienced the comradery of LANZ while strengthening our professional attributes and of course, we were so fortunate to soak in the incredible scenery and hospitality of Russell, Waitangi and surrounds.

A superbly facilitated event, thank you to those who were involved in preparations and implementation.

Some of our team members attended the community open day at Kids in Need Waikato over the weekend.
A wonderful day to explore the property, meet the team, learn about the legacy project and enjoy the many fun filled activities.
