"Visitor Visa Update: Easier Translation Requirements"
From 26 May, certified translations will no longer be required for supporting documents submitted with visitor visa applications to New Zealand. This brings our process in line with Australia’s.

🔹 Translations are still needed for non-English documents
🔹 You must include the translator’s name & their qualifications/experience
🔹 Translations cannot be done by the applicant, a family member, or your immigration adviser
🔹 Resident visa applications still require certified translations
