I hope this post finds you well. It's been a while since we last connected!

Back in December 2018, after Christmas, I returned to my home country. Now, after 7 years, I'm excited to share that I'm back in New Zealand and returning to the real estate industry. How have you been during these years? I hope you have all stayed healthy, full of passion, and enjoying life!

After Christmas in 2018, I returned to China and quickly took over my family business, managing sales. We specialize in manufacturing rubber and plastic insulation pipes, thermal insulation materials, and PVC wrapping tapes for air conditioning and refrigeration systems, working with major brands such as Midea, Haier, and Daikin.

Then, the pandemic and lockdowns changed everything. Like many others, I found myself stuck at home with nothing to do. I felt that wasting time was not an option, so I bought a treadmill and started running every day. This small decision led me to complete 32 marathons, and in 2024, I became a China Athletics Association-certified elite marathon runner.

Even while in China, I always kept in touch with my friends in New Zealand through emails and social media. During the pandemic, I also took the Licensed Immigration Adviser (LIA) course for New Zealand and passed the exam in August last year, officially obtaining my license. Through this journey, I met many professionals in the immigration industry.

Time feels incredibly short—seven years have passed in the blink of an eye, and the pandemic felt like a time accelerator. The main reason for my return to New Zealand is my child’s education. In China, teachers in international schools change frequently, affecting the stability of education quality. After careful consideration, we decided to come back.

Starting from scratch is never easy, especially after being away from the industry for years. The challenges are real—rebuilding my network, adapting to market changes, and proving myself once again. However, I am confident in my abilities, experience, and determination. I have done it before, and I will do it again. With persistence and a clear vision, I will rise back to the top of the real estate industry. I'd love to reconnect with you!
