The Law Commission has released its Final Report on the review of the Human Rights Act, recommending that protections be expanded to explicitly cover gender identity and innate variations of s*x characteristics (inters*x traits).

The proposed changes aim to remove uncertainty in the law and bring New Zealand in line with other countries that already provide clear protections for transgender, non-binary and inters*x people.

We’re grateful to have been invited to the Prosper Faster Summit NZ.

It was uplifting to be surrounded by such a vibrant group of investors, professionals and industry leaders who shared not only their technical expertise and property investment strategies but also the values that guide their decisions in business and in life.

What stood out most was the generosity of those who dedicated their time to the community, reminding us that true success extends beyond building wealth to creating impact, living with purpose and staying true to the values that matter most.

Thank you to the organisers and everyone who contributed to making it a space where knowledge, integrity and community came together. It was a privilege to be part of it.

At the request of our colleagues at CNSST Foundation, we’re helping spread the word about a University of Auckland research project for ethnic migrant parents in New Zealand with children aged 10 – 24. The study explores parents’ and caregivers’ experiences raising children in Aotearoa and how they access support for their young people’s health and mental wellbeing.
