Skilled Migrant Category (SMC) Resident Visa is resuming next month after over 2.5 years of it being put on hold. The next selection of Expression of Interest will be on 9 November, where the points required to be invited to apply for a resident visa will increase from 160 to 180 points. This could make residence in New Zealand out of reach for many migrants.
