I recently sat down with a young entrepreneur, Dominic Turnbull, to chat about his new business venture and I genuinely thought it was such a clever idea. He popped into the office to speak to our team and I thought it was a business worth sharing.

The concept is simple but incredibly valuable.

Dominic helps people sell their second hand items by handling the entire process for them. He values the items, takes professional photos, writes the listings, manages enquiries, and deals with buyers from start to finish.

There are so many people with quality items sitting unused in garages, spare rooms, storage units, or offices, but the process of actually selling them often becomes the barrier. Time, effort, uncertainty around pricing, and dealing with buyers means things simply never get listed. I personally don’t like selling second hand items because of the admin and I often just sell it at a low price to get rid of it.

What stood out to me most was not just the business model itself, but the initiative behind it. Spotting a common problem, creating a service around it, and backing yourself to give it a go takes courage.

I always enjoy meeting people who are willing to start something rather than waiting for the perfect moment.

Looking forward to seeing where Dominic takes this.
