If you have a strong case already lodged in the ERA with an upcoming investigation date, we will act as your advocates and representatives in the hearing without any fees coming out of your pocket!

We only receive payment after the case has concluded AND in the event the ERA orders a contribution to legal costs to be paid by the employer to you. Once the employer pays the costs to you, those costs are then paid to us.

Yes, times are tough for Kiwi employers, but KiwiSaver employer contributions are not meant to be taken out of your base salary - it just defeats the purpose. Check those new employment agreements to make sure your employer is not shortchanging you!

A ban on total remuneration packages would make an immediate difference for many members, say KiwiSaver providers and the Retirement Commission.

It’s a perfect time of year to brush up on your rights to paid time off work.

Lots of good people struggled and fought for our statutory leave entitlements, so we could have time off for cultural reasons, family and fun (and sickness 🤢).

Make sure you get everything you’re entitled to this holiday season, while also hopefully having a well-deserved rest.

Employees become entitled to annual holidays, public holidays, sick leave, bereavement leave, parental leave and other types of leave as long as they meet certain conditions.

I love the feeling of settling employment problems for workers.

This Whangarei resident just got paid their four week notice period and a significant amount of compensation to recognise the stress, hurt and humiliation they suffered after being unjustifiably sacked just before Christmas.

Don’t let Tall Poppy Syndrome fool you. High income earners are people too!

They have mortgages to pay and children to support and deserve the same protections at work as lower income earners.

The devastation of an unjustified dismissal is universal, and this move by Government is an attack on all workers!

A new policy set to be introduced next year would stop high income employees from claiming unjustifiable dismissal.
