Property Besties | NZ Property Investing just went international. 🩷

Last week I flew to Sydney for Women in Property , and sat in a room full of women building real careers in this industry.

A huge thank you to the panel: Lauren Williams (), Judith Pini (Lendlease ), Rebecca McKee (Mirvac Residential ), and Lisa Sorrentino (City West Housing), for sharing their career journeys with so much energy, honesty and humour. And to Rhian Davies (Redpath Partners Partners) for guiding the conversation with such warmth and insight.

One line from Rebecca stuck with me. She spoke about the power of just being authentic, no performing, no shrinking, no playing a version of yourself to fit the room. Simple, but it’s rare to hear it said out loud on a stage.

What struck me most was the range in that room. Advisory, development, government housing, funds management. Different corners of the same industry, all led by women who’ve built real careers in it.

Back home, we’re building something similar with Property Besties. Women backing women through some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

Seeing it at this scale, in another market, reminded me why it matters.

To the women on that panel, and everyone in the room, thank you. 🩷

Okay... before you panic.
I’m only going to Sydney. =D

I’ve never been, and it’s time expand my horizons.

But I’m not going just to sightsee.
I have one mission: meet people in property!

Residential and commercial.
Investors. Brokers. Coaches. Deal finders. Agents.

I’m fascinated by how other markets work, and I want to meet the people actually making things happen in Sydney.

Six months ago I launched Property Besties Coaching with one goal. To make property investing feel possible for busy, professional women who don’t have the time to do it all themselves.

I had no idea if it would work. No idea if women would trust me with one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

They did. And now they’re coming back for the next one.

Not because they bought a property. Because they became women who believe they can do it again.
That’s the part that matters.
