Deheng Civil Code N.V.

Deheng Civil Code N.V. DeHeng Civil Code N.V. (‘DCC’) acts as a corporate legal institute. We advise on Dutch corporate legal issues that are codified in the Dutch Civil Code.

We develop corporate legal know-how and innovative legal solutions by practicing the legal profession. Our partners have capped themselves to a maximum profit-share to be able to reserve funds for the development of legal solutions and products that help us to better serve clients. We work closely with the largest Dutch academic institutions in order to generate an exchange of academic and practic

al legal know-how. Our client portfolio consists of mid-size and large (both listed and non-listed) multinational companies, governmental institutions and semi-governmental organisations. We offer a full range of notarial and attorney services but limit ourselves to advising on specialised corporate legal expertise gained by our lawyers in the past 20 years. By consequently abbreviating our name to ‘DCC’ we emphasise that our know-how is rooted in the Dutch Civil Code. We believe that joint benefits are the logical outcome from a joint effort in a client-lawyer relationship. Consequently, the split of our fees is as follows: 70% for costs, 20% for know-how development and 10% for the sponsoring of the Chinese-Dutch trade relation. As such, clients that hire us are not only assured to receive corporate legal advice measuring up to the highest global standards, but are also assured to benefit from an ongoing process of know-how and trade relation development between the Netherlands and China. We strive towards a 50/50 division in the composition of the members of our team between Dutch and (native) Chinese employees. In doing so, we believe to give a further impuls to the trade relation between the Western regions and China. We are located in The Hague, being the governmental centre of the Netherlands and the international legal capital of the world, in several legal fields. We make an effort to reduce paper-consumption by an optimal integration of modern IT-technology in our business process. However we always respect privacy and confidentiality as a key element of our practise and in given situations will always let those values prevail over technological progress.
