We are proud and honoured to announce that our founding partner Lisette Hendrikse has won the Dutch Independent Legal Award 2021!

This award is presented every year to independent lawyers or barristers who distinguish themselves through their new way of working, innovation, their added value to clients or because they add an extra dimension to the profession.

The jury, consisting of Legal Managers of big organisations and Managing Partners of renowned law firms chose Lisette as winner, based on their own insights, combined with input from the public vote, references and candidates themselves, through cases and interviews. So, winning the DILA is a huge achievement.

Lisette, many many congrats from us. You are a brilliant lawyer, a wonderful colleague and a warm human being. This award is truly deserved.

We are very happy to announce the expansion of our team and welcome Boy Hendriks as our Tax Partner and Coen ten Thije Boonkkamp as our new associate.

Boy is an experienced tax lawyer with an international scope and has been honored to support numerous international companies of various sizes and industries, as well as high-net-worth individuals.

Coen is a practical and business-oriented lawyer and innovator, who advises businesses and boards of directors of (international) organisations on legal and compliance matters. Coen has worked in international corporate law, high-tech and software engineering.

We are proud to announce that Liance Legal has joined the High Five program of Buzz Women. We also became their legal partner and we will provide them with legal support.

This wonderful organization educates and empowers low-income women in remote areas, by bringing entrepreneurial learning to their doorstep, using mobile classrooms. So far, over 100.000 women in Africa and India have been trained and Buzz Women are striving for 10 million women in 2030.

By hiring Liance Legal as your legal team, you enable the training of 50 women each month. So, by letting us support you the best way we can, you are supporting women who lack the opportunities that we have been given.

We are very happy to announce the expansion of our legal team and welcome Sharita Raktoe as a new associate. Sharita is based in both the Netherlands and Curaçao and she has experience as a Lawyer in various areas, including labor, civil, criminal and corporate law. Sharita has also worked at several international trust firms and has a background in general compliance, corporate governance and shareholders services.
