Two years ago, I embarked on a transformative journey to pursue an LL.M in International Dispute Settlement & Arbitration at Leiden Law School Universiteit Leiden / Leiden University. Despite an initial setback, when my University of Ghana language proof was not accepted, leading to the cancellation of my admission midway through the first academic year, I persevered.
With determination, I resubmitted my application for the new academic year and was successfully enrolled.

This experience, enriched by supportive lecturers like my thesis supervisor, Dr. Eric De Brabandere and diverse study mates from around the world, has shaped my expertise in international dispute settlement, trade, investment, company and commercial transactions, and arbitration.

Today, I climbed another Ladder, Advanced Masters in Law; LL.M, International Dispute Settlement successfully bagged.
I am deeply grateful to my husband, Roland, my family, srudy assistance, and friends, especially [Name withheld], Sammi Awuku, and Kwabena Ampofo Appiah (Vyrus) for their unwavering support. Thank you Ernest Ohene Kyei and Pammy Beyoutifull for honouring my Invitation.

I am now poised to build a successful career leveraging these skills, contributing to complex legal and commercial landscapes.

Martyrs Day to honor their commitment to the rule of law!

Today, June 30, 2025, marks 43 years since the tragic abduction and murder of three High Court Judges,
Justices Fred Poku Sarkodee, Cecilia Koranteng-Addow, and Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong along with a retired army officer, Major Sam Acquah, in Ghana.

The incident occurred on the night of June 30, 1982, during a curfew, when they were taken from their homes and killed at the Bundase Military Range in the Accra Plains.

This event, a dark chapter in our Justice system history, the very core reason why the Judicial Independence must be strengthened.

I had the opportunity to attend the 125th Anniversary of the Permanent Court of Arbitration(PCA), Discussion Forum.

Under the Theme: The Role of the PCA in Post- Conflict Situations. Organised by the Grotius Centre for International Studies and the Embassy of the Philippines.

Post conflict situations involves a comprehensive approach that addresses immediate needs and lays the foundation for long-term peace and development strategising on Security and Stability (disarmament and Reintegration)

Governance and Rule of Law, strengthening judicial systems and ensuring access to justice, solidarity and cooperation between parties to ensure that the parties have the right to participate effectively in conflict resolution and enforcement of Arbitration Agreements to enable the vision of the PCA in ensuring Solidarity amongst States.
