You don't have to learn the hard way.
You can't just buy a property and hope for the best.
You need a strategy.
Before you get swept up by a smooth-talking consultant, you need to stop and ask the hard questions:
1. Who am I really dealing with? Who is behind the company selling this to me? What’s their reputation?
2. Who’s in their corner? What are their affiliations and partnerships? Does it add to their credibility?
3. What’s the growth plan? What are they actually doing right now that will make this property more valuable tomorrow? (This is everything).
4. What’s my way out? Before you even get in, know your exit plan. How and when will you turn this investment back into cash?
Get the answers to these. Then, and only then, should you pick up that pen and sign anything.
