Enough Is Enough – Popular Human Rights Activist Set To Lead ASUU Strike Protest On Wednesday

Kola Edokpayi, a Human Rights Advocate cm Speaker of The Talakawa's Parliament has expressed worry over the incessant ASUU Strikes that have grounded academic activities in various higher institutions. He further urged Nigerians to join him in a protest scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 4th May.

He said “ I will never stand with Federal Government on the crisis between ASUU and FG.

I will never stand with ASUU on the crisis between the duo. I stand with Nigerian Students which is my immediate constituency. End ASUU Strike now as Students are tired of staying at home.

“Join us tomorrow as we take over the streets to vent our spleen on the lingering ASUU Strike in Nigeria which has affected Nigerian Students negatively. The students should not be made to suffer in the mortal combat between ASUU and Federal Government. Enough is enough.”

You are supporting him to become Gov. While his children are in abroad studying and you are an unemployed graduate with a first class or second class Degree, some of his children that graduated with pass and lower grades in school are already working with companies like: NNPC,AGIP OIL COMPANY, MTN,GLO, CHEVRON,SHELL, FEDERAL MINISTRIES, POLITICAL APPOINTEES or even OWN BIG BUSINESSES Established for them by thier father with our stolen monies. Look at you online making enemies because of him just because you have been promised one 50k job or he gave you 200k that will not sustain you for 4years...

After election he will stop picking you calls because your contract with him has ended after 4years he remembers you again

Why don't you think beyond all of these ?
Why don't you ask yourself questions like: Who is a visionary leader among all these aspirants ?
Are there other good aspirants from all this small Political Parties that are new? If yes,why not give those ones a try instead of these past criminals?

Pls Delta Youths and Nigeria Youths in general should have a rethink in thier minds
Corruption can only be eliminated from the top not from down
Just one right man at the top can change the story of Delta and Nigeria at large

Good Leadership is not by experience or academic qualifications but mindset and morals

Now, who is the right person?

1) check his past political record
2) check his lifestyle if he is the type that love material things
3) follow his progress in life to know if he has questionable character or made questionable wealth
4) make your choice
Don't let anyone deceive you there is money in the State , money that's enough to create jobs for the youths but greed of politicians has made it nearly to create job opportunities across the country. Thanks and God bless you

THE EVILS OF MATERIALISM IN OUR SOCIETY

The desire to get rich quick, greed, insatiable love for materialism, power tussle and social malaise have almost caught up with every Nigerian. That is to say,the love for money is the root of all evils. Man and Woman, young and old have new dimension of corrupt indulgence on daily basis.

The main causes of corrupt practices are greed and insatiable love for materialism. Everyone wants to own and ride exotic cars at all cost. Every citizen wants to own as many houses as possible. Nowadays,it is very possible to hear people boast of having many chieftaincy titles, Degrees, designer shoes, dresses, bags, Cars and all manner of ill gotten properties. These endless desires lead to different forms of moral decadence in our society. Corrupt practices are further fuelled by power-hungry politicians and military personnel who spend huge sums of money to acquire political power. Such money are got either by embezzlement of public funds or any other fraudulent means.

Another cause of this social malaise is traceable to societal value system in which diligence, honesty honour and integrity are no longer accorded the respect they deserve. Material fortune speaks louder than such virtues these days. Who doesn't know the high rate of corruption in offices and public places ? The dimension and language attached to It is viz: 'settlement ', ' see me ' , which are popularly used. Bribery and corruption have eaten deep into the marrow of our society. The practice is now integrated into the normal way of life and regarded as “fastness”. This evil of materialism brought about the fast declining state of our economy and limited opportunity for the poor masses.

However,to alleviate the problem of social ills, all hands must be on desk. There must be total overhauling from those at the top and our leaders must learn to lead by example. It is not enough for them to condemn corruption on the pages of newspapers but show good examples. Secondly, if we have the fear of God, honesty, hardwork and the love of our country, we shall succeed. In addition, law enforcement agents must sit up against bribery and corruption. Above all, we must all discipline ourselves to live within our means and not to allow the frenzy to be rich to overwhelm us .
