UNIQUE FOR EXCELLENCE
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to the commencement of a new academic phase.
Over the years, our Chamber has grown from strength to strength under successive administrations, and there is no doubt that this trajectory of progress will not only be sustained but enhanced.
In my capacity as the Head of Chamber, I urge every member to regard the Chamber as a primary academic family on campus. While leadership structures and responsibilities may reflect diverse preferences and perspectives, our collective commitment must rise above individual inclinations. We are therefore enjoined to uphold the values of care, mutual respect, teamwork, and pride in all our engagements.
The core mandate of a Chamber is to foster the holistic development of its members across all facets of the legal profession. This objective can only be achieved through shared responsibility, active participation, and unwavering dedication. Accordingly, every member is encouraged to contribute time, effort, and commitment to ensure that growth within the Chamber is inclusive and sustainable.
Members are also encouraged to maintain a positive and forward-looking disposition towards the Chamber, irrespective of past perceptions. The strength and potential of our Chamber remain undiminished, and together, we are fully capable of attaining excellence.
Furthermore, as earlier communicated on the LAWSAN platform, all LAWSAN activities both online and physical have been suspended until further notice. Consequently, our inaugural meeting earlier scheduled for *Tuesday, 3rd February 2026* has been postpone till further notice. This suspension, however, does not signify inactivity, as the Chamber will continue to function administratively, excluding formal meetings.
Once again, you are warmly welcomed, and I wish you all a productive and rewarding academic semester.
