President Buhari Launches Newly redesigned Naira notes.The unveiling today, marks the first time in 19 years, Nigeria will be redesigning it’s currency notes.

The CBN Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele also debunked rumours that the early unveiling of the Naira notes were meant to target specific individuals.

The Fundamental Rights of the citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria are contained in Chapter (II) and (IV) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. However, unlike the Rights spelt out in Chapter IV, those of Chapter II (Socio-economic Rights) are unenforceable in Nigeria by provision of section 6 (6)(c) of the Constitution.

In an event of the violation of these rights, Section 46 (1) of the same chapter of the constitution empowers the victim to seek redress in a High Court.

President Buhari Sacks Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Brigadier-General Mohammed Fadah.

The exact reasons for the sack are yet to be known. He is to hand over to the most Senior Civil Servant.

Brigadier General Mohammed Fadah had served as DG for just 6 months since his appointment in May.

Three Staff of Nigerian Law School have been dismissed over allegations of involvement in Exam Malpractice.

The trio of Mr. Idoko Odeh, Mrs. Precious Chika Nwachukwu, and Mr. Gibson Uzodinma were accused of various degrees of exam misconduct. Mr Odeh, is alleged to have reproduced a Student Identity Card to enable a Lawyer take a resit exam for a student, while Mrs. Chika and Mr. Gibson were alleged to have facilitated and received gratification to enable someone take the Bar exam for another candidate.

The NBA has been mandated to take further Disciplinary actions on all involved, including the lawyers.

Council of Legal Education releases results of 2022 Bar Part II Exams; 119 Students bag First Class, 787 Second Class (Upper Division) and 2460 bag Second Class (Lower Division) while 1323 have a Pass degree. 185 Students have a conditional pass, 922 failed and 6 results are withheld for alleged malpractice.
