✅ Report the loss to the Police and obtain a Police Report.
✅ Swear an Affidavit of Loss at a High Court or Magistrate Court.
✅ Notify the relevant authorities, such as the State Land Registry, to begin the process of obtaining a certified copy or replacement (where applicable).
✅ Inform your lawyer or the real estate company that handled your purchase. They may have copies or records that can assist you.
✅ Publish a notice of the loss in a national newspaper if required. This helps protect you against fraudulent use of the missing documents.

💡 Prevention is Better Than Cure
Keep the original documents in a secure place.
