Nigeria Enters the Race to Bring F1 to Africa! 🏁

Nigeria is set to make history as it launches a bid to host the prestigious Formula 1 Grand Prix in its capital city, Abuja. Led by the National Sports Commission (NSC) Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, this ambitious initiative seeks to put Nigeria on the global motorsport map.

The NSC has partnered with Opus Racing Promotions, supported by Government Relations experts - BL Practice Hub, to drive this groundbreaking bid.

With full support from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration under the Renewed Hope agenda, alongside private sector leaders and the sports community, Nigeria is ready to bring F1 to Africa’s largest economy.

To show commitment, invitations have been sent to FIA President Stefano Domenicali, Lewis Hamilton, and Tilke Engineers to visit Nigeria and engage with key stakeholders.

Abuja is ready. Nigeria is ready. Africa is ready. 🏎️🇳🇬

📀 Lisa has been working with Friday Business Hub for several years and now feels like she needs to move on to greater opportunities.

Here are a few things that Lisa wants to take into consideration:

- Notice: If Lisa's employment contract states a notice period, then Lisa is required to give a notice or make payment in lieu of the notice as agreed in the terms of the employment contract.

- Contract Expiration: If Lisa’s employment contract is dated to expire at a stated time, then Lisa can leave the company upon expiry of the contract.

- Subsequent Agreement: If Lisa had a conversation with her employers and both parties could reach a consensus, then Lisa can go ahead.

- Stipulated Causes: If by contract, Lisa is entitled to some benefits and is being denied by the contract, Lisa can leave the company for contractually stipulated causes.
