Dear Friends,
We began sending articles on YOUR BUSINESS AND THE LAW in 2012. We were able to sustain the practice because the encouragement we got from readers was overwhelming. Since then, we have covered a wide range of topics targeted at helping you run your business in accordance with laws and regulations.
Though it is almost impossible to “cover the field” with our articles, we sensed the notion that monotony had set in. We got the impression that there was the need to diversify the content and focus of our articles. The decision to suspend articles on YOUR BUSINESS AND THE LAW was finally made when we recently got confirmatory feedback from some of our readers. With the feedbacks, we became convinced that a change was necessary.
Consequently, we began to think of other ways we could be relevant to you with our legal knowledge and practice. After much consideration, we decided on an ASK YOUR LAWYER campaign. This decision is borne out of our fundamental belief that every person (corporate or individual) should have a lawyer who correctly answers all legal questions pertaining to it.
We are convinced that any person who operates without a lawyer is like a moving train without breaks – it will crash sooner or later. As a result, we feel obliged to kill the tradition of self-help in legal issues and at the same time wake up the non-lawyers’ consciousness to directing legal questions to their own lawyers.
ASK YOUR LAWYER is our attempt to engender closer ties between lawyers and the general public. We believe every person should have a lawyer it relates with on a regular basis. With ASK YOUR LAWYER, we create legal scenarios from everyday occurrences and ask questions only a lawyer can answer. Non-lawyers can only guess the answers. But why guess the answer when you can ask your lawyer? Why take the risk when you can be sure?
Starting from next week and using ASK YOUR LAWYER, we will begin to send to you short legal scenarios with legal questions at the end. We hope these questions will make you retain an individual or corporate lawyer. As always, we count on your feedback on ASK YOUR LAWYER.
Note: Articles on YOUR BUSINESS AND THE LAW were not shared on Facebook and other social media platforms. From time to time, however, we will post some of the articles.
