Happy International Men’s Day!

Today, I celebrate the sweat, sacrifice, and silent strength of men around the world who dedicate their lives to building and nurturing others.

I am especially inspired by my dad—a man who taught me the true meaning of selflessness and resilience. His tireless efforts to provide for our family, his unwavering commitment to our dreams, and the quiet yet profound ways he shows love are reminders of what it means to be a man who leads by example.

Through long days, sleepless nights, and countless sacrifices, my dad embodied the essence of strength and care. He didn’t just build a home; he built values, character, and hope in us.

To all the men out there—fathers, brothers, husbands, mentors—thank you for your sacrifices and hard work. Your efforts, often unseen, are deeply valued and appreciated.

Let’s honor and support the men in our lives, not just today, but every day. 💪

THE TRUE COST OF FREEDOM
October 1st is celebrated as Independence Day, while June 12th is recognized as Democracy Day, but the real question remains: are we truly free? Economic enslavement still binds us, and as Nelson Mandela said, “To be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.” Nnamdi Azikiwe once said, “Freedom is priceless, and the cost of liberty is eternal vigilance.”

Many say the country is moving backward, but if we focus too much on negativity, we might forget the impact we can make. True freedom comes at a price—blood, sweat, and time—but the end is always victory. Let’s strive to be the change we seek, working towards a better Nigeria that we will continue to fight for.

God bless the good citizens of this nation.

"Reflections on CLASFON Conference"
Attending the CLASFON conference was a refreshing and enriching experience. It was a time to unwind, connect with old friends, and build new relationships. The atmosphere of fellowship, worship, and shared faith made every moment meaningful. Beyond the sessions, the conference offered an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, strengthen my faith, and enjoy some much-needed rest. It was truly a time to recharge spiritually and socially. Feeling blessed and grateful for this experience!

As lawyers in private practice, we wake up each day with a commitment to go to work and help solve other people's problems. Our role in upholding the rule of law and advocating for our clients ensures that everyone's voice is heard and their rights are protected.

Let's continue to work together to strengthen our democratic institutions and promote a fair and just society for all.
