After several years in private practice, we decided to yield to the demands of our friends to register MAE & Co (KC) with CAC in 2012 to begin to address societal injustice, human rights abuses, and law reform. Several years after, we have undertaken several Pro- Bono matters towards the decongestion of prisons in Nigeria and have carries out extensive research and Advocacy against domestic violence and all forms of exploitation of labour and abuse. We have also participated in the FG law reforms, working under the Nigeria Law Reforms Commission to review the Laws of Federation of Nigeria, where we actively review over 19 Laws including the Administration of Criminal Justice Act among others. Working with DARG, one of the national directorates of CLASFON, we have actively participated in both training, research and field work in unveiling communities that practice infanticide and educating and supporting such communities. We have participated in counselling the traumatized IDPs in several camps within the FCT. We have worked in collaborations with Center for Socio Legal Studies, run by Prof. Yemi Akinseye George. We we're also involved in case evaluation, witnesses evaluation, collection of evidence from classified witnesses drafting and research in some election disputes in the past years. Looking back and seeing how much hope that we have brought to people who were fraustrated at life because of inhumanity, we are sure that we are on the right path of history.
