I was exploring some parts of Abiola Way, particularly the Isale-AbαΊΉΜtΓΉ axis, and I realised there is more to this road than what you see as a passerby. So, here are my 6 fun facts about Abiola Way for today! ππ
1. The Hilly Terrain You Might Not Notice β°οΈ
Abiola Way has some hilly sections, particularly around Ima RoadβOke-Ilagbe and Isale-AbαΊΉΜtΓΉ. Judging from the major road, you might not notice these features until you explore some of the adjoining areas.
2. Two NEPA Offices, Yet No Band A? β‘π
There are two NEPA offices along Abiola Way, yet the area isnβt entirely enjoying Band A electricity. Imagine having electricity offices on your road and still having to worry about power supply! Naijaaππ
3. One of Abeokutaβs Long Road Routes π£οΈ
After LafenwaβIta-Oshin and Iyana MortuaryβAjebo roads, Abiola Way is arguably one of the next major long road routes in Abeokuta. This road covers quite a stretch, connecting different parts of the city.
4. Just Two Banks Along the Road? π¦
Zenith Bank and Globus Bank are the two banks Iβve identified along Abiola Way. Considering the length of the road and its commercial activities, this is quite an interesting observation.
5. The Surveyors Deserve Some Credit! ππ
The surveyors who handled the Abiola Way layout deserve some credit for the roadβs connections to major areas such as Isale-AbαΊΉΜtΓΉ, Elite and Lantoro. A good layout makes movement between different parts of a city much easier.
6. Abiola Way Has the Finest Landlords! ππ‘βΊοΈ
Abiola Way doesnβt just have interesting terrain and a long stretch of road; it also has some of the finest landlords in Abeokuta. πβ€οΈ
