You’re reading a book on sales, let’s say "The Psychology of Selling". You’re learning about objections, closing techniques, emotional triggers… you feel fully armed.

Then you walk up to a prospect, ready to apply everything you’ve learned… only to find out they’re reading the same book LMAO

At that moment, you realize this is no longer a sales conversation. It’s now a chess game.

You say, “I understand your concern…”

They smile and reply, “Chapter 6, right?”

You attempt a soft close.

They counter with a delayed objection you haven’t even gotten to yet, ghen ghen!
