We have not posted here for some time now.

Going to end of May 2025 soon - so have all of you paid your Quit Rent (now better known as Cukai Tanah/ Cukai Petak for properties with strata titles).

After 31 May, there is a fine added on to the owing Quit Rent.

If your property is in Selangor, do check at https://etanah.selangor.gov.my/etanah-awam/EBayaranSemakBayarCukaiTanahForm.xhtml
Print your Bil Cukai and also pay amount online.

Refer to an old Quit Rent receipt for the account no. Otherwise title details are required to extract the correct Bil for payment.

In conjunction with the nationwide celebration of Aidilfitri, our office will be closed from Monday, 31st March 2025 until Tuesday, 1st April 2025. We will resume business as usual on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025.

The Kuala Lumpur Land Office has been giving reminders to many owners of stratified properties to settle their CUKAI PETAK (quit rent for parcels like flats/apartments/condominiums) by the 31st May 2024.

This however, applies to all land in Semenanjong Malaysia. All Cukai Tanah and Cukai Petak must be paid by 31st May 2024 otherwise a fine will be added on to the account.

If you have not settled your quit rent/cukai tanah or cukai petak, it is prudent to do so now.

Though times may not be economically good and the cost of living has gone up - and so has the prices of things that we always buy every year when the lunar new year is near .... and yet there is always excitement and hope of a fresh start when it is New Year. And most of all, there are many things that we can be grateful for, especially the people around us - family, old friends and new friends. Thank you for your care, your friendship and support !
