ACP24 | Final Day

A meaningful closing to ACP24 with practical on-site sessions, hands-on learning, technical sharing, demonstrations, and memorable group photos together with participants, trainers, and speakers.

Thank you to all speakers, trainers, and participants for making ACP24 a successful and valuable programme. Your passion, commitment, and willingness to share knowledge truly made this journey special.

As everyone returns to their respective workplaces and daily routines, may the knowledge, experience, and spirit of arboriculture continue to grow within us all.

Keep learning, keep revising, and all the best for the upcoming revision sessions and examinations.

See you again soon, and thank you for being part of ACP24.

e-GIP 2026 | Day 3: Majlis penutupan program

Last day for e-GIP 2026 at Pulau Banding.

Started the morning with tree planting activities before attending the closing ceremony together with VVIPs, organisers, volunteers and participants from universities around Malaysia.

It has been such a meaningful and unforgettable journey — from rainforest trekking, tree identification, tree health assessment and sharing knowledge together in the field.

Thank you to Banding Foundation, organisers, Arborists, Botanists, volunteers and everyone involved for making this programme a success. We are truly honoured to be part of this meaningful programme and to contribute towards achieving the Malaysia Book of Records.

e-GIP 2026 | Day 2: Tree Identification Session with CAs and Botanists

The second day started with all participants entering the rainforest trails at Pulau Banding. Participants were divided into 5 large groups, where each group was guided by 2 Certified Arborists (CA) together with a Botanist.

Together, we identified jungle tree species, assessed tree health and guided volunteers (University students) throughout the assessment and tree data collection session.

After dinner, we gathered again and continued identifying species from the samples collected earlier in the forest. It was truly a meaningful knowledge sharing session between CAs and Botanists.

A big thank you to Botanists Siti Eryani and Dr. Norshida for sharing their valuable knowledge and helping the team identify 1019 trees for this programme to help achieve recognition in the Malaysia Book of Records for the Most Species Identified in a Programme.

Eco Guardian Initiatives Program (eGIP) 2026

e-GIP 2026 | Day 1
Alhamdulillah safely arrived at Pulau Banding together with fellow Certified Arborists (CA) representing PArM for this meaningful program.

The first day started with an intro session with the organisers during the night briefing. So nice to see passionate young people gathered with one common interest — nature, rainforest and conservation.

Excited for the next few days exploring the rainforest, sharing knowledge and contributing together for this amazing programme.

*PArM was invited as Strategic Partner for this program.

Day Four & Five of ACP24

ACP24 continued with informative and engaging sessions by experienced industry professionals.

On 7 May 2026, CA Mohd Zailani Jamil conducted the continuation of the Pruning session, while CA Nik Ikmal Fathi shared valuable knowledge on Installation & Establishment and Tree Support.

On 8 May 2026, Prof Dr. Nazre delivered sessions on Tree Identification and Tree Selection, highlighting the importance of selecting the right tree for the right place.

A great combination of theory, practical knowledge, and interactive discussions throughout both days made the sessions highly engaging and beneficial for all participants.

The Arborist Certification Programme 2026 (ACP24) is back as part of PArM’s annual initiative, a key platform dedicated to strengthening knowledge, skills, and professional standards in arboriculture across Malaysia.

This year, we are proud to have around 29 participants registered, reflecting the growing interest and commitment within the arborist community and those pursuing this field.

ACP is more than just a course, it is a learning journey that combines fundamental theory with hands-on practical experience in the field.

Congratulations and thank you to all participants for taking this important step forward. Wishing everyone a meaningful and impactful experience throughout ACP24.
