“I love / don’t love my job — when tragedy happens.”
I love my job because I help clients secure their property.
And if anything goes wrong, I make sure the family (waris) can keep the home — without the headache of installments.
We never know what will happen on next hour, or even next minute.
But I also don’t love my job…
Because sometimes, I’m the first to know when tragedy happens.
="Part 1: A real-life story"=
Last year, an agent friend introduced me to a nice, sporty couple.
They planned to buy a landed house worth RM750,000 using LPPSA.
As usual, I did my best to complete everything as fast as possible.
A few months later, the husband WhatsApp me.
He told me his wife had passed away (with 3 kids left behind)
The first thing that crossed my mind wasn’t business.
It was fear.
👉 Is the loan disbursed?
👉 Is the property covered?
I immediately checked with all related parties.
Thankfully, the tragedy happened after drawdown.
The property was already covered.
Last night, the husband messaged me again.
He told me the MRTT had fully settled the RM750,000 loan, with an extra RM20,000 payout.
Only then did I feel a small sense of relief.
This was the little thing I could do for the family.
I couldn’t help but think—
What if I had delayed the process by 2–3 weeks?
What if the tragedy happened before the coverage?
That burden on the husband…
It would have been like placing a few extra tons of stone on his shoulders.
="Part 2: My point of view"=
Everything we do creates an impact on others.
The question is: positive or negative?
Friends often ask me:
“Why do you work so hard?”
“Don’t you rest?”
“Every day working—aren’t you tired?”
Honestly? Yes.
I’m just like everyone else.
I have only 24 hours—to work, eat, spend time with family, rest, and handle stress.
But for those who know me, you know this—
I dedicate most of my time to work.
Not because I’m a workaholic.
But because I want to deliver efficient, reliable, and responsible service.
In this industry, some people say:
“Lambat sikit saja bah, bukan masalah besar.”
But to me, that small delay can change someone’s life outcome.
After 13+ years in this industry, I understand every party involved:
• Buyers want fast approval and protection for their family
• Agents may depend on that one deal for the month
• Sellers may urgently need the funds for important reasons
Speed isn’t just speed — it’s respect for everyone’s reality.
*Ps: I'm still answering/ assisting client that was 10 years ago cases.
="Part 3: Business talk"=
In any industry, we all know this rule:
Fast & efficient = higher cost
Same for me.
A simple example — I post documents daily, not in bulk, just to ensure cases move ASAP.
To maintain service quality, I:
• Increase headcount
• Invest in technology
• Improve systems
• Reduce human error
• Ensure fast and accurate responses
All these come with extra cost in time, effort, and money.
(Some others relationship cost in order make sure case from A - Z always run smooth, you know, then you know.)
With the number of cases I handle, I could earn more by cutting corners.
But I choose not to.
Because I truly appreciate those who support me.
That’s why a big portion of my income goes back as appreciation to partners, agents, and collaborators.
Last but not least
I strongly believe this:
Our vibes attract the right people,
the right partners,
and the right journey.
If we haven’t met yet, I hope our paths cross soon —
and that we’ll have the chance to sit down for a cup of coffee ☕
and start a meaningful journey together.
