Please take note that our office will be closed for business starting from the 9th February 2024 (Friday) to 16th February 2024 (Friday).

We are looking for any interested individual who is keen to fill in a position as a Personal Driver.

• Must be able to meet and follow boss schedule for meetings, client meeting and court schedule.
• To perform any other duties assigned by firm and/company.
• Responsible for the vehicle maintenance records, service and cleanliness.
- Able to work overtime and outstation.

Requirements:

- Malaysian citizen only
-Valid class D license. Having a GDL Licence is an added advantage.

- Must be familiar with road in Kota Kinabalu.
- Must be healthy with good eyesight and ensure safety driving at all times.

KOTA KINABALU: A logging company owner and its manager were charged in the Sessions Court, Wednesday, with three counts of felling 707 logs illegally in Forest Reserves and State land in Sipitang and another count of having 274 logs for which the royalty was not paid.

Manager Tiong Chee Khong and owner Yun Ket Chun, both 49, who appeared before Judge Elsie Primus, pleaded not guilty and claimed trial to all the charges.

On the first count, Tiong and Yun were accused of felling 127 logs without being expressly authorised under the Forest Enactment 1968 in the Ulu Sungai Padas Forest Reserve in Sipitang between July 17, 2019 and Feb 4, 2020.

Our counsel, Aaron Mark Pius is representing both accused for the respective 4 charges this morning. Both accused claim trial against all four charges. Appearing before Puan Elsie Primus, Learned Session Court Judge, Mark appeared with Chin Kok Seun.

The Court set for the next mention 27 July 2023.

KOTA KINABALU: A logging company owner and manager were charged in the Sessions Court here with illegal logging and unlawfully possesing logs in Sipitang.
