Legal support shouldn’t be all-or-nothing.

I’ve never loved the idea that every business owner needs to spend thousands of dollars on legal work just to be “safe.” I started my firm & contract template shop in 2019 as an accessible alternative to hiring an expensive hourly lawyer.

Sometimes you really do just need a solid contract template. Sometimes you need 30 minutes with a lawyer to figure out your next move. But other times, the stakes are high enough that you want to hand me the whole thing and say, plzzzzz handle this for me.

So I’ve intentionally built my practice to meet you at all of those points 🫶🏽 from $50 DIY resources to contract reviews, negotiations, custom drafting, trademarks & ongoing legal support.

My philosophy is pretty simple: save your legal budget for where the risk actually is & when the stakes are actually high. I’ll never recommend the $2,000 solution when the $275 one will do the job.

After 7 years with my own firm, I’ve grown with so many clients as their business gets more complicated. Your legal support can grow with it. We can build custom contract bundles, audits, project scopes & retainers around what you actually need instead of forcing your business into a pre-made package.

Not sure where you fall? You don’t need to know before reaching out. Tell me what you’re building + what you need help with, and I’ll point you in the right direction. 🪽

I’m a planner, but only to the extent that planning affords me the freedom to be spontaneous 🪽

My general travel philosophy is to figure out the non-negotiables, look at a map, find the path of least resistance & leave some room for the place to surprise you 🫶🏽

That’s how a wedding in Sicily somehow turned into southern Italy → an €80 overnight ferry from Bari → checking “Greece” off my bucket list with Corfu → an unplanned day trip to Albania → flying home from Rome.

Could I have planned every stop before I left? Sure. I probably could have found better accommodation & value for my budget 🔎

But then I might never have realized I was a quick ferry ride away from a 2,000+ year-old city in Albania, which that ended up being one of my favorite days of the entire trip 🫶🏽🏛️🩶

I wrote about the whole route (plus where I stayed, what I booked & what I’d recommend) in this week’s Scroll Savvy. Link in bio 🪽

a lil roundup of everything I learned this week 🫶🏽 bc cool girls are curious & never stop learning

this book is THICCC & I don’t love the writing style of the author. but I love starting my day with a few pages to “prime” my brain for my workday

ok so the race is like 1.2km (widely debated here) & not a “mile” … still, it’s far 😭

!!!!

how did I not know THEEEE Plato started all the drama? 🎭

skip the crowded part of Sicily & visit Marsala instead 🫶🏽 located in western Sicily, this town was beautiful, quiet & filled with interesting history.

there’s so much to do, from day trips to the nearby beach towns to visit a lido, boat trips to the neighboring Egadi islands, sunsets on the salt flats, wine tastings, & more (if you have a car, you can explore more of the island - like the valley of the temples).

This area is filled with so much rich history & culture, dating back millennia. Like, did you know this place was the “breadbasket” of Ancient Greece and Rome because of its fertile volcanic soil & ability to produce grain? My favorite souvenir from here was a box of Sicilian biscotti, which I just finished today

my NON-NEGOTIABLES as a lawyer for creators who reviews brand deal contracts every day…

bc the budget is only HALF the discussion - what else are you giving up when you agree to these sh*tty terms? HINT: it’s usually the opportunity to make more money 📜👀💭📁

Lately I’ve been thinking about what makes life feel successful.

For a long time, I was stuck in the “accomplishment” and “achievement” hamster wheel.

I’m still incredibly proud of the career I’ve built (after all, my lifestyle would look a lot different if I had student loans & didn’t get a full academic scholarship to law school in NY) but only bc I’ve been able to gain new perspectives:

The moments that made me aren’t things you’d write on a resume 🪽

… I have a feeling that these will be more meaningful for me as life goes on 🫶🏽🩵🦋🧸

One of my favorite parts about being a trademark attorney is that I get to help people protect something they’ve poured sooo much soul into 🫶🏽🩵📜🪽

But my LEAST favorite part is having to be the 🧸 of bad news when my clients have made expensive mistakes that cost them their brand 🥲

You see, most of the trademark problems I see happen bc someone started out with the wrong assumptions:

“I bought the domain”
“I have the LLC”
“There was something on Google but it was in a different country”
“There’s an IG account but they haven’t posted in a while”
“I can file the application later”

I hear a version of these almost every consult call.

Luckily, I can help you overcome most of these trademark mistakes. Just this month, I was able to help:

• a wellness facility get USPTO approval, despite a competitor with a similar name
• a photographer get a registration, despite a copycat using the same name
• a content company get clearance, despite a podcast with the same name

These things didn’t happen on a fluke, they happened after months of strategy, searches, & conscious decisions made together… because they knew exactly what the process & legal analysis entailed (& they didn’t make assumptions)!

Do any of these slides surprise you?

PS- I’m spending this week deeeeep in trademarks, working on 3 new clients onboarded & sharpening my skills with the 2026 version of Trademark Lawyer Lady ‘s mentorship program, 2 Weeks 2 Trademarks. It’s been 6 years since I started the course but like the USPTO filing fees, tech interface, & internal policies, my practice (& the law) is always evolving! 🫶🏽🩵📜🪽🏛️
