SUNDAY EARLY MORNING SERVICE WITH PASTOR LYTON MAJAWA
TOPIC: INCREASING IN GRACE
God has already blessed us. But how can we experience this blessing in its fullness? Why is the same blessing manifested differently in different people? It can be explained by the grace at work in a person's life. Grace is the supernatural influence of God upon the human spirit, reflected on the outside.
Grace for salvation is unmerited favour. Beyond this, grace is also seen in the outworking of the Spirit in a believer's life. There are different kinds and levels of grace, and you can grow in grace. The more you can be trusted with a particular responsibility, the more grace abounds in that area.
You need to accumulate grace. There comes a time when you will need to rely on it. It will not always be about how hard you pray in a particular moment, but how much grace has already abounded in your life. It is your daily habits and consistent spiritual disciplines that cause grace to accumulate. You can excel in multiple areas because of grace. One example is giving. There is a grace for giving, and that grace brings prosperity.
God is able to make all grace abound. What happens when God's grace abounds in your life?
1. Acceptability
Whether in the workplace, church, or relationships, grace brings acceptability. Grace makes you likeable and welcomed by others.
2. Advantage
Grace places you in advantageous positions. When grace increases in your life, it propels you ahead of others.
3. Favour
Grace causes favour to manifest in your life. Favour brings success to your actions and also causes people to respond positively towards you.
4. Joy
Grace brings joy into your life. No matter the situation, you maintain your joy because it comes from the Lord and not from people. Even when undesirable things happen, you remain steadfast.
