In 8.4.2016 ,Madaya Township Court pronounced Verdicts on 22 Criminal Regular Trials regarded with 108 farmers.They have been
charged with penal code section 447
trespass and 427 mischief.
In good for nothing military junta's
term especially in bald headed Thein Sein
administration ,these notorious penal sections are tools of repression.
These are the darkest days for
farmers in Myanmar history regardless of peasant revolution in British Colonial rule.
But the colonial ruler adopted the meritorious 1894 Land Confiscation Act which has been still enforced.The devil empire never abode law which was inconsistent with their bloodshed interest.
Our beloved State Councilor ,Daw Aung San Suu Kyi hi lighted the principle of Judicial thinking in her New year speech in 18.4.2016.She exposed that in terms of punishment even found guilty,judiciary should adopt sympathetic and compassionate way of thinking .
Madaya Township Court experienced judge Daw Win Win Htein has abode the idea.The farmers who were real owners of the land and being dismissed ,have been found guilty for trespass and mischief but only to pay for compensation .
The disputed lands were robbed and confiscated by the military junta without a penny of compensation illegally and unfairly.
Obviously the genuine convicts are the military junta.Wow!what a shame to be a merciless ruler.
So newly elected people 's government has the duty to solve the land issue fairly.
Down with military monopolized Landlordism.!
