A new publication "Freedom of Contract and its Limits: Analysis of International Aviation Transactions" has been recently published in the law quarterly Teisės problemos.

The article provides some interesting insights on the implementation of the principle of freedom of contract under Lithuanian law in international aviation transactions and is found to be beneficial for professionals engaged in the aviation business.

Transactions

The Law Firm has advised a local aircraft leasing company on the acquisition and further lease of Bombardier CRJ 200 LR aircraft. In the last one and a half years the Law Firm worked closely together with different stakeholders, including prominent German, Russian, and Bermudian law firms, on the implementation of this complex transaction. In general, the law firm assisted a client to deliver 8 (eight) aircraft in 2011-2013 to the relevant the Russian operator, and the value of this transaction exceeded $30 million. This proves the law firm's leadership in aviation transactions in Lithuania.
