⚖️ Planting the Seeds of a Legal Career.
Today, the Faculty of Law had the privilege of welcoming our first-year students to the NUL Associations Expo hosted by the DSA , and they certainly showed up in numbers! 🎓✨

Curious, enthusiastic and eager to learn, our first years brought incredible energy as they explored the many paths a career in law can take them.

The NUL Students Litigation Club was proud to collaborate with the NUL Students Law Society, Faculty of Law Debate Club, and UNDP Human Rights Association in creating a space for connection, mentorship, advocacy and inspiration.

Today was more than just a career expo. It was a reminder that every great legal career starts with curiosity, courage and a willingness to learn.

Here’s to the next generation of advocates, litigators, scholars and changemakers. ⚖️🔥

This weekend we held our official NUL Students Litigation Club Opening Ceremony and our members DRESSED UP and SHOWED UP!

LERATONG COMMUNITY OUTREACH ❤️🌞

Each year, the NUL Students' Litigation Club, together with our first-year law students, carries forward a beautiful tradition of giving back—this time at Leratong Community Centre. 🤍

With a shared commitment to serving the community, this initiative focused on supporting children—the future leaders in the making. The team contributed essential items to assist the centre, but more importantly, they poured their hearts into connecting with the children, sharing moments of joy, warmth, and genuine care.

In the true spirit of the law, the students also empowered the children with knowledge of their rights, drawing from the Children’s Protection and Welfare Act (CPWA) and the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child—reminding them that their voices matter, their dignity is protected, and their futures are worth fighting for.

We extend our warmest gratitude to Leratong Community Centre, 'M'e Tina for opening their doors to us with such warmth, and for allowing us to share in their space, their joy, and their beautiful community. 🤍

This outreach stands as a testament to a truth: that the law is not only found in books and courtrooms, but in acts of kindness, in service, and in the courage to uplift and empower our communities. 🌱⚖️
