📢 UPSKILL AFRICA FOUNDATION INTRODUCES NEW SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMS!

The Upskill Education and Empowerment Center (UEEC) is expanding its training programs to include Soap Making, Pastry, and Tie-Dye Production, Secretarial Science, in addition to our ongoing Computer Literacy Training.

These new programs are designed for parents, girls, and young people who are passionate about acquiring practical, lifelong skills to improve household income and create sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Through our community monitoring and identification of Out-of-School Children (OOSC), we continue to encounter households facing financial challenges, with limited income-generating opportunities and a lack of marketable skills. These challenges often prevent parents and guardians from adequately supporting their children's education.

With funding support from Project Change International, Inc., UAF is launching tuition-free skills training to empower households with practical skills that can create income-generating opportunities and help parents sustain their children's education.

At UAF, we believe that empowering a household is an investment in a child's education. When parents have the skills and opportunities to earn an income, they are better positioned to keep their children in school.

Together, we are building stronger households, supporting children's education, and creating opportunities for a better future.

NO Invisible Child to Education Rights

👉🏼Just because a child lost a parent doesn't mean they should lose their future.

👉🏼Just because a family is struggling financially doesn't mean a dream of a child should die.

👉🏼Just because there's no support today doesn't mean Liberia's future leaders should grow up without education.

The "Invisible Children" are those who have been out of school for several years and still have no access.
Let's make them VISIBLE. Let's get them to school. They are our future.

Be a Blessing. Help a Child Go Back to School. 📚❤️

Another school year has begun, yet many children in our communities are still unable to return to school.

Education may be free, but uniforms, books, shoes, pens, pencils, and other learning materials are not.

So, what becomes of the future of thousands of children whose families cannot afford these basic necessities?

At Upskill Africa Foundation (UAF), in support of government and partners' efforts, we monitor education within communities and as part of our work, we identify Out-of-School Children, and mobilize support to help them return to school.

🚸 23 children have been identified and are currently awaiting support to go back to school.

These are not simply numbers or children counted in a community survey. We call them "Invisible Children" because many have remained outside the education system for years.

Some are 10, 13, and 14 years old and have never entered a classroom. Others dropped out of school 2, 3, 4, or even 5, 6 years ago and there has been no support for them to return to school.

Every child deserves an opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future.

You can be part of that opportunity.

🙏 Be a blessing to someone. Help sponsor or support a child to go back to school.
