I am directly, addressing the professor. Yes, you have been our professor of law in the university of Colombo. The rule of law that you taught us were never present in your government and in the mode of governance. It was unparalleled corruption that you allowed your party to practice in the governance. As a matter of fact, you are probably not the beneficiary of any of the corrupt activities that the party in power did. in respect of all contracts and matters of governance. But you had the power
and capacity to bring up these matters in the cabinet and in the parliament, but none of you spoke against corruption. you were involved in it even at this stage you don’t want to admit the corrupt practices that they engaged in. How can we believe you at this stage when you’re completely out of power it’s a dream for you. You don’t seem to understand that those 17 parties and their men are trying to pick you up to engage themselves in those corrupt practices again not for the good of the country. You had the capacity when you were in power to introduce national policies in respect of many matters, but you didn’t come up with proposals for education, health services, transport, digital services. you and your government never wanted to regulate anything. We are sorry about you and your misguided children. They are really demons. Please get out of our way. We are properly on path on track. We have laid sound foundations. The younger generations in this country do not want corrupt people like you. You have no excuse now.
