🇦🇺 Important Australian Student Visa Update

New rules for Student Visa (Subclass 500) and Student Guardian Visa (Subclass 590) applications came into effect on 2 October 2026.

Key changes include tighter rules for applying while already in Australia, as well as new restrictions on including spouses, partners and dependent children in Student Visa applications.

Students planning to apply for, extend or change their visa are encouraged to carefully check their eligibility under the updated requirements.

📌 Applications lodged before 2 October 2026 will continue to be assessed under the rules that were in place at the time of lodgement.
